Job Summary

TheCOSAM Communications and Marketing Office at Auburn University is looking for a creative and motivated student to join our team as a Student Video Producer. This position offers hands-on experience in video production, editing, and content creation for COSAM’s social media, website, and promotional materials. Essential Functions

+ Video Production: Assist in filmingCOSAM events, student stories, faculty features, and promotional content using our professional Sony camera gear.

+ Editing & Post-Production: Edit video projects using Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Suite products on Mac and PC workstations.

+ Content Creation: Help develop creative ideas for video content that highlights the impact ofCOSAM students, faculty, and programs.

+ Photography: Capture high-quality photos for social media and marketing materials when needed.

+ Team Collaboration: Work closely with the communications team to produce engaging content that aligns with COSAM’s messaging.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Currently enrolled Auburn University student

+ Basic knowledge of video production and editing (experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus).

+ Strong interest in storytelling, marketing, and digital media.

+ Ability to meet project deadlines

+ Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on projects.

+ Familiarity with camera operation (especially Sony cameras) or a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Photography skills and experience with Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom.

Pay Rate

$11.00/hour
