    Job Summary

    Dr. Toro’s research lab is looking for an undergraduate student to assist with daily care of chickens and to help with setup and cleanup of project facilities.

    Essential Functions

    The applicant will assist with collecting samples from live animals and during postmortem procedures. They will also support the preparation and processing of all samples and lab work as directed by the supervisor.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.

     

    **Expectations** :

     

    Must be able to follow directions and be able to work independently.

    Preferred Qualifications

    If the candidate possesses prior animal/ lab experience, that is a plus. However, training is available if needed.

     

    Pay Rate

     

    $12.00-$15.00/hour depending on experience
