Description

Position Summary

The ASP.NET Software Developer is a mid-level position reporting to the Sr. Software Engineer in the IT department.

Core Responsibilities

+ Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications usingASP.NET (MVC/Web API)

+ Write and optimizeSQL queries, stored procedures, and database objectsusingSQL Server

+ Participate incode reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure code quality

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

+ Implement and maintainCI/CD pipelinesusingAzure DevOpsto automate builds, tests, and deployments

+ Document technical specifications and user guides

+ Learn and apply best practices in software development and DevOps workflows

+ Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues in a timely manner.

+ Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Minimum 2 years of professional experience inASP.NET (preferably MVC and/or Web API) development

+ Strong expertise inSQL Server,including query optimization and database design

+ Solid experience setting up and managingAzure DevOps Pipelinesfor CI/CD

+ Proficient inversion control systemssuch as Git

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

+ Good communication and teamwork skills

+ Willingness to learn new technologies and tools

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or in progress)

+ Exposure tofront-end technologies, e.g., HTML, CSS, Kendo)

+ Exposure toMicrosoft Azure services(App Services, Functions, Key Vault, etc.)

+ Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
