Position: FLETC Stock Clerk-Props

Position Summary:

The Stock Clerk manages inventory, cleanliness, issuance/return, and tracking of all props, gear, and protective equipment for training scenarios. This role ensures props are available, functional, and appropriately marked/maintained to meet safety and accountability goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

These services are required to support unique efforts which may require:

• Maintain and reconcile prop inventories

• Issue and receive props/equipment

• Clean/disinfect gear per safety requirements

• Track and report prop repair/replacement needs

• Mark and update tagging/inventory records

Required Skills and Abilities:

• One (1) year minimum stock/inventory management experience

• Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance

• U.S. citizenship/residency

• Organizational and reporting skills

• English proficiency

• U.S. citizenship/residency

• Professional and reliable conduct

Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
