    Description

    The American Arbitration Association (AAA) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Vice President II to lead our operations across a defined regional territory. This leadership role oversees a team of Directors and manages the promotion and administration of our Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans to expand AAA’s reach, building and sustaining stakeholder relationships, and ensuring excellence in case management and service delivery.

     

    Candidates with experience in the energy sector—particularly oil and gas, renewable energy, or electricity markets and grid infrastructure—are highly encouraged to apply. Industry familiarity will enhance your ability to foster partnerships and expand ADR services in this vital sector.

     

    The successful applicant will work on a hybrid basis and must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned office location (approximately 125 miles; Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio locations). The starting annual salary range for this position is $145,000 to $155,000, and is based upon location. There is also an annual discretionary incentive award targeting 20%. Our competitive compensation package includes, medical, dental, orthodontia, and vision coverage, a student loan repayment program, a 403(b) retirement plan with substantial company match, discounted pet insurance, and generous paid time off.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Leading regional ADR strategy in alignment with AAA's mission.

    + Managing and mentoring a team of Directors.

    + Building relationships with clients, prospects, industry associations, and legal communities.

    + Overseeing complex arbitration and mediation cases.

    + Driving business development and outreach.

    + Ensuring adherence to AAA-ICDR rules, confidentiality standards, and operational excellence.

    + Collaborating across regions and departments to enhance service delivery and market visibility.

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor's Degree in business, legal studies, or energy related field; advanced degree strongly preferred

    + Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in ADR, legal services, or energy related field, with at least 3 years of management experience

    + Strong knowledge of ADR principles and procedures, especially arbitration and mediation.

    + Demonstrated ability to build relationships and expand business opportunities.

    + Public speaking and presentation skills, with a talent for engaging diverse audiences.

    + Proficiency with CRM systems, case management tools, and data analysis.

    + Ability to travel approximately 20% to attend meetings, conferences, and other events
