Maintenance Engineering Technician (Night Shift)

**Location:** Lodi, CA

**Duration:** Contract (with potential extension)

**Pay Rate:** $34/hr + 11% night shift differential + weekly overtime

Position Overview

Kelly Engineering is seeking **five (5) Maintenance Engineering Technicians** to join our client, a global leader in diagnostics, at their **Lodi, CA facility** . These are **night shift roles** supporting high-volume, automated manufacturing operations. This is a great opportunity for mechanically minded technicians with automation experience who want stable work, guaranteed overtime, and competitive pay close to home in the Central Valley.

Shift & Schedule

+ **Night Shift (D Shift):** 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

+ Schedule: **Wednesday – Friday, alternating Saturdays**

+ 12-hour shifts = built-in **weekly overtime at time and a half**

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated filling and packaging equipment.

+ Support TPM activities (CIL, centerlines, PMs, changeovers).

+ Partner with Engineers and Operators to reduce downtime, micro stops, and machine faults.

+ Perform hands-on mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting.

+ Document downtime and maintenance activities in systems.

Qualifications

+ Strong **mechanical aptitude** and hands-on maintenance experience.

+ Background with **automation lines, robotics, PLCs, and vision systems** preferred.

+ Comfortable with **physical work** (standing, squatting, moving equipment).

+ Industry background flexible: medical device, food processing, dairy, wineries, or other automation-driven facilities.

+ Must be comfortable working **night shifts** .
