Retail Food Service Worker – St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany, NY
About the Role
St. Peter’s Health Partners is hiring a **Retail Food Service Worker** to join our team. This role focuses on **providing exceptional customer service** , preparing fresh, high-quality food, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience. Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare and serve **fresh, high-quality food and beverages**
+ Provide **friendly, efficient customer service** at the counter or register
+ Maintain **cleanliness, organization, and food safety** standards
+ Assist with **stocking, prep work, and kitchen support** as needed
+ Work collaboratively to ensure smooth daily operations
+ Adheres to SPHP's code of conduct
Qualifications
+ **Experience in food service, retail, or customer service** (preferred, not required)
+ Strong **communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills**
+ Ability to **work in a fast-paced environment** while maintaining attention to detail
+ Passion for **fresh food and creating a positive dining experience**
+ Read, write and speak English at a minimum 6’th grade level
+ Follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school level computational skills

Pay Range:$16.20-$19.35
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
