    Job Opening: Molecular Research Technician

    **Location:** Onsite in Saint Louis, MO

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

    **Pay:** $26–$30/hr W2

     

    Potential for Extension | Some Flexibility for the Right Candidate

     

    We’re seeking a **Molecular Research Technician** to join our BioMonitoring R&D team, supporting food pathogen diagnostics and development projects. This is a hands-on lab role in a **BSL2 environment** , ideal for someone passionate about molecular biology and food safety.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist scientists with food studies and background research

    + Perform general lab maintenance and aseptic techniques

    + Work with food bacterial pathogens in a BSL2 lab (PPE required at all times)

    Must-Have Qualifications:

    + 1–3 years of lab experience in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.)

    + Strong PCR/qPCR experience

    + Comfortable working in a BSL2 lab with PPE

    + Experience with aseptic techniques

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience in food microbiology and diagnostics

    + Familiarity with molecular instrumentation and automation

    + Strong data analysis and documentation skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    Additional Info:

    + Two interview rounds: Virtual and Onsite

    + Pre-employment physical required
