At Amazon, we obsess over our customers and maintaining their trust. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Program Manager, to join the Amazon Stores Security Team (StoresSec). This role will lead operational initiatives within StoresSec Business Operations.
Key job responsibilities
Cross-Functional Program Management: This role serves as the strategic force multiplier across StoresSec, focusing on operational excellence. The position requires expertise in building collaborative frameworks, enabling cross-functional partnerships, and establishing streamlined operational programs. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective operational programs across StoresSec, while continuously identifying opportunities to optimize business operations and drive successful outcomes.
- Lead complex process improvement efforts across StoresSec Business Operations Functions and partner Business Operations Teams
- Design and implement communication strategies and meeting cadences to drive operational excellence across StoresSec
- Manage cross-functional dependencies for mechanisms that branch between and across StoresSec
- Create and maintain transparency mechanisms for collaboration across organizational boundaries
- Evaluate operational needs and communicate requirements, timelines, and solutions to ensure success
Stakeholder Management & Partnership: The role requires exceptional relationship-building capabilities and partnership development across multiple organizational boundaries. This role will support fostering and maintaining critical relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization and partner organizations to enable effective cross-functional collaboration. The position demands strong influence and negotiation skills to achieve business objectives while ensuring proper channels for addressing critical business needs.
- Build strategic relationships with stakeholders across StoresSec
- Drive alignment on priorities and establish/manage information sharing mechanisms across teams
- Facilitate resolution of cross-functional challenges and dependencies and ensure effective escalation paths for critical issues

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
