Job Title: Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Engineer
Job Description
Join a dynamic team tasked with implementing and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems in an injection molding and automated manufacturing environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to key projects in a rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities
+ Implement and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems within injection molding and automated manufacturing environments.
+ Collaborate with tooling, automation, and production teams to improve equipment reliability and throughput.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fluid power systems, including valves, actuators, pumps, and compressors.
+ Support metal-to-plastic conversion projects with integrated hydraulic/pneumatic solutions.
+ Evaluate system performance and recommend upgrades or redesigns for efficiency and safety.
+ Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
+ Document system designs, maintenance protocols, and engineering changes.
+ Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
+ 5+ years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting
+ Strong understanding of injection molding processes and equipment
+ Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
+ Familiarity with fluid power components and control systems
+ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
+ Proficiency in Excel
+ Experience with buying and estimating
Work Environment
This position is onsite.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clyde, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
