    Job Title: Intelligent Manufacturing Engineer

    Job Description

    The Intelligent Manufacturing Engineer will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing science, including theory of constraints, capacity planning, and flow optimization. They will ensure that the core infrastructure of the factory works in harmony with production control and execution systems to meet production demands.

    Responsibilities

    + Collect and perform data analysis of tools and dispatching logic to ensure optimal equipment and process flow.

    + Maintain an effective scheduling system to achieve production capacity targets and improve operational control.

    + Respond quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.

    + Establish effective planning capabilities to maximize fab capabilities and meet customer requirements.

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure robotic workstations, detection instruments, and database tools meet standards and goals.

    + Manage and coordinate daily activities for Manufacturing Specialists to meet production goals.

    + Identify gaps in a specific section of the wafer production line, determine root causes, and implement solutions.

    + Oversee production line output and address upstream and downstream issues.

    + Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

    + Present findings and long-term solutions in meetings on a daily basis.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 1-3 years of experience preferred; 4-5 years with direct semiconductor experience considered

    + Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical and Automation Engineering, or related fields

    + Knowledge of optimization algorithms and related fields

    + Strong communication and presentation skills

    + Proactive and able to work with urgency while maintaining quality

    + Ability to work with cross-functional teams

    + Leadership and people management skills

    + Intuitive and forward-thinking problem-solving abilities

    Work Environment

    The work environment is fast-paced and constantly evolving. The position involves working on a team of 26 engineers in a highly collaborative setting with a high level of communication. The role is primarily computer-based, reviewing data sets rather than being on the production floor. Dress code is casual, including jeans, polo shirts, and comfortable walking shoes. The position follows a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime expected.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
