    Department Introduction

     

    Micron’s Strategy and Business Operations organization drives critical business initiatives by bringing to bear data, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The team supports strategic decision-making and operational excellence across product development, program management, and analytics.

    Position Overview

    As a Strategy and Business Operations Intern, you will contribute to high-impact projects that enhance Micron’s product lifecycle management and program execution. You will collaborate closely with project teams and senior leaders, acquiring practical experience in business analytics, dashboard development, process documentation, and automation powered by AI.

    Responsibilities

    + Build dashboards and data visualizations to support reporting of product schedules

    + Automate Performance to Plan reporting and highlight risks using scripting tools

    + Enhance and expand the Product Development Team (PDT) Playbooks for PMO use

    + Develop and maintain New Product Introduction Status Dashboards/Reports

    + Complete AI training and implement features to improve PMO process efficiency

    + Interact with cross-functional teams to refine reporting tools and ensure business alignment

    + Provide training and documentation for new tools and methodologies

    + Establish periodic review processes to audit and update documentation

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with an encouraged graduation no earlier than December 2026

    + Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    + Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

    + Excellent programming fundamentals

    + Strong data visualization and analytical skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with Tableau, SQL, Microsoft BI Suite, REST API, Confluence, JIRA, and Python

    + Familiarity with AI tools such as RPA and UiPath

    + Coursework in Project Management or Business Process Analysis

    + Experience in data warehousing, modeling, mapping, and validation techniques

    + Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
