    Your role and responsibilities

    This posting is for an IBM HR internship located at IBM’s headquarters in Armonk, NY. Internship dates are May 26, 2026 through August 14, 2026.

     

    We’re looking for Human Resources (HR) Professionals that share a passion for IBM’s purpose - to be the catalyst that makes the world work better.

     

    In IBM HR, we are driving transformative change in service of our employees, and our clients. As an HR Intern, you’ll work on projects in one of our key functional areas:

     

    Talent (including IBMer Growth and Development, and Talent Management)

     

    Leadership, Culture, and Inclusion

     

    Talent Acquisition

     

    HR Services (including HR Technology, HR Transformation, and Payroll)

     

    Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition.

     

    The work you do may include data analysis, design thinking, communication, program design and development, research and problem analysis, and solution implementation.     Note: If granted a full-time offer after successfully completing this internship, you must be willing to relocate to one of IBM’s HR Hubs: Armonk, NY or Raleigh, NC.

    Required technical and professional expertise

    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    * Capacity to manage competing priorities with strong time management skills

    * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

    * Proficiency using Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    * Basic knowledge in analytics and data analysis

    * Ability to conduct independent research and effectively summarize information and make recommendations grounded in data and feedback

     

    Preferred technical and professional experience
