Hiring Salary: $57,288.00 -$69,552.00
Work Days/Hours: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, varies according to Special Event Schedule

Position devoted to managing the City’s parking facilities, parking enforcement activities, customer service, facility and equipment maintenance, and security. Incumbents provide first-level direct supervision to parking facility maintenance and repair activities or parking enforcement and revenue collection activities.
The employee will be responsible for supervising assigned staff, to including planning, assigning, and evaluating work; participating in projects and performing the most complex work of those supervised; plans and manages events; troubleshooting issues; responding to emergency requests; purchasing supplies and equipment; writing equipment specifications; preparing reports and maintaining records. Incumbents supervise paraprofessional, technical, and/or enforcement staff, to include conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline, and termination procedures
Duties/Responsibilities
+ Supervises parking facility maintenance and repair, parking enforcement, revenue collection, special event support, and related operations; supervises staff including planning, assigning, and evaluating work; conducts safety and related meetings and training; ensures adequate staffing levels; and ensures compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
+ Assists with project coordination; manages parking for special events; troubleshoots complex and/or escalated operational and customer service issues; monitors contractor and staff operations; researches and estimates project costs; ensures staff coverage; and responds to emergency requests.
+ Assists with procurement and budget preparation; monitors and tracks supplies and expenditures; reviews equipment and material requests; researches and compiles material and cost information; compiles and reviews equipment specification information; requests quotes from vendors; and purchases supplies and equipment.
+ Prepares, maintains, and/or reviews reports, records, and other documents; updates, maintains and reviews databases; reviews work and the work others for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
+ Coordinates with vendors, contractors, and City departments and external agencies to facilitate projects and/or events.
+ Supervising staff engaged in parking enforcement and special event support including daily scheduling. Managing events, and ensuring field coverage.
+ Maintaining statistics and compiling records and reports.
+ Coordinating with vendors involved in parking enforcement.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
+ Associate’s degree or equivalent in business or public administration or a related field.
+ Three (3) years of parking enforcement experience.
