Job Description

We are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to perform tasks including:

+ Wood and metal stud framing

+ Acoustic ceiling installation

+ Drywall backing

+ Installation of commercial doors, frames, and hardware (locks, closers, panic devices)

Candidates should be able to read blueprints and accurately lay out framing systems.

Responsibilities

+ Perform wood and metal stud framing

+ Install acoustic ceilings and drywall backing

+ Read and interpret blueprints for accurate layout

+ Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware

+ Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

+ Follow all construction safety standards

+ Work independently and collaboratively

+ Maintain high attention to detail

Qualifications

+ Minimum 3 years of commercial carpentry experience

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools

+ Strong understanding of construction safety practices

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Work Environment

+ Commercial job sites across Chicagoland

+ Shifts typically run 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, depending on location

+ Required attire: hard hat, high-visibility clothing, and work boots

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
