    **Role Summary** : Lead configuration and support activities related to the following network infrastructure technologies: application load balancing, datacenter routing/switching, WAN routing/switching, firewalls, enterprise wireless solutions, and network access control solutions.

     

    What You Will Do

     

    Lead troubleshooting complex problems and serve as escalation point for incidents or problems that require a high degree of complexity.

     

    Design and configure application load balancing, content switching, and global service load balancing (GSLB) solutions based on requirements from application teams for application high availability and scale.

     

    Configure, manage, and support network access control (NAC) solutions.

     

    Configure, manage, and support complex datacenter and WAN routing/switching environments. This includes a variety of WAN technologies such as DMVPN, SD-WAN, and SD-ACCESS.

     

    Configure, manage, and support multiple client VPN/remote access solutions.

     

    Review root cause analysis that has been performed at Tier II level to validate appropriate measures have been implemented to prevent future occurrences.

     

    Lead the support and configuration activities for complex technologies.

     

    Analyze and document the advanced architecture and configuration of infrastructure and applications.

     

    Provide configuration and engineering for new technologies supporting critical business functions.

     

    Serves as a Project Manager to drive results in the required initiative and provides frequent status from deliverables, financial and overall health of the project.

     

    Develop and create tasks to be implemented by Tier I and Tier II personnel. Serves as advisor and reviewer of complex changes.

     

    Mentor Tier II staff during problem resolution and root case analysis to increase efficiency and knowledge of Tier II personnel.

     

    Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

    What You Will Need

     

    Preferred Bachelor's Degree MIS, computer science, mathematics, other related field.

     

    Experience with current data networking and/or server technologies.

    Demonstrated ability to understand and support the following:

    + Citrix Application Delivery Controllers (NetScalers)

    + Palo Alto Networks Firewall Solutions, including Panorama centralized management

    + Cisco Nexus datacenter networking solutions

    + Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

    + Cisco Catalyst Center

    + Dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF

    + Network redundancy/resiliency protocols such as Spanning Tree, HSRP, VRRP, VPC

    + Cisco DMVPN or similar solutions

    + IPSec VPN solutions

    + SD-WAN solutions

    + Virtualization technologies

    + Structured Cabling systems

    + Event monitoring, logging, and data collection techniques

    + Cloud Services

     

    Experience with the application of math, algebra and statistical and volumetric methods.

    Experience and training relative to:

    + Operating systems software

    + Computer hardware

    + Networking

    + Communications

    + Security administration

    + Project Management

    + System/Software Development Lifecycle

    + Cloud Computing

     

    Demonstrated ability to research, prepare, and compose systems operating procedures and documentation, reports and correspondence.

     

    Demonstrated ability to interact, advise, guide, train and communicate effectively.

     

    Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

     

    Able to use office tools and equipment required.

     

    Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions; conduct oral presentations and/or meetings.

     

    Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.
