    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled **Electronics Technician** to support critical aerospace operations in **San Antonio, TX** . If you're an expert in avionics systems, diagnostics, and precision electronics—this is your opportunity to directly impact mission success on high-profile aircraft programs.

    What You'll Be Doing

    + Perform bench and/or flight line testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on aircraft systems

    + Modify, install, and test wire bundles and avionics components

    + Analyze circuits, calculate waveforms, and trace signal flows using advanced diagnostic tools

    + Interpret schematics, blueprints, wire diagrams, and work instructions

    + Diagnose and correct assembly malfunctions using precision tools and instruments

    + Collaborate with peers and management to determine optimal repair processes

    + Mentor and support junior technicians; may lead teams on complex assignments

    + Work from ladders or in confined spaces and lift up to 35 lbs

    + Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, including Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag Out protocols

    + Support cross-functional teams (Structures, General Mechanics, Electrical) as needed to meet project goals

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + Experience with C-17 or other heavy aircraft platforms

    + Proficiency in Aircraft Avionics Systems (Comm Nav, Radar, Data Links, Weapons)

    + 3+ years of experience in applied mathematics, statistics, or related field

    + 4+ years interpreting schematics, specs, drawings, and SOPs

    + 3+ years with aircraft computer systems and standard office software **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Hands-on experience with C-17 modification programs

    + Familiarity with COMSEC, Radar, or advanced electronic systems

    + Certified or able to operate forklifts, cranes, and elevating equipment

    Education and/or Experience:

    + High school diploma or GED

    + **OR** in lieu of diploma, **at least 4 years** of relevant experience in electronics/avionics (e.g., wire bundle installation, circuit analysis, and test equipment operation)

    + Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
