    Mozaic (a chapter of NYSARC) is looking for a full-time Community Relations Specialist in Waterloo, NY. If you're passionate about creativity, storytelling, and making a difference through marketing, this role gives you the opportunity to shine while driving impact in the community.

    Community Relations Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Community Relations Specialist plays a key role in bringing the Arctic Gear and Mozaic brands to life. This creative and dynamic position is responsible for designing and producing eye-catching marketing materials, both digital and print, that tell our story and showcase our products. You'll shape the Arctic Gear brand by managing product design, photography, website content, and social media while building innovative campaigns that expand awareness, strengthen partnerships, and boost sales.

     

    Beyond design, you'll lead the charge on engaging content for both Arctic Gear and Mozaic, creating reels, stories, and short-form videos that connect with audiences in fresh and memorable ways. You'll also play a vital role in community relations and donor engagement, helping to grow support and deepen connections across both brands.

    Community Relations Specialist Minimum Qualifications:

    Associate's Degree in Marketing or Public Relations or related field and two years' experience required. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Public Relations or related field preferred. Advanced user of Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design as well as other mediums for Graphic Design preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tool preferred. Product design and product marketing experience preferred. Background in community relations or an equivalent preferred. An advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

    What We Offer for Community Relations Specialist:

    Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4 pm

     

    Occasional work outside of hours needed for agency and after-hours events

     

    Full Time: 37.5 Hours per week

     

    Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $24.00
