TITLE: Program Director
PROGRAM: In Home Behavioral Services (IHBS)
SERVICE: Children’s Mental Health Services
SUPERVISOR: Director of Children’s Behavioral Services
SALARY $84,000
The Program Director will have the overall oversight of the IHBS program which includes participation in leadership meetings, supervision of staff including hiring, team building, and promoting growth of clinical skills throughout the team. The Program Director will be the primary liaison within the Edinburg Center and externally with our MCEs and other CBHI service providers.
Who you are:
+ Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling
+ Massachusetts’ independent clinical licensure of LABA, LICSW, or LMHC is required.
+ Five years of experience working with youth with serious emotional and behavioral health disturbances and their families.
+ At least 2 years supervisory experience.
+ Knowledge of and experience providing Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) services or similar services
+ Strong leadership, organizational, communication, writing and supervisory skills.
+ Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
What you will do:
+ Oversees overall operations of In Home Behavioral Services.
+ Reviews and coordinates referral process alongside an Intake Coordinator.
+ Is a resource for the team in developing therapeutic treatment goals that are clearly and measurably defined, individualized, and that link the youth’s assessed need to improve the youth’s mental health functioning within the family and community.
+ Ensures the implementation of home based therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
+ Interviews, hires and is the administrative lead for all staff in the program, including performance management.
+ Collects, manages and reports metrics required for contract compliance.
+ Facilitates monthly staff meetings to foster communication, team cohesion, and professional development.
+ Actively participates in individual supervision to support ongoing growth and ensure adherence to agency practices.
+ Keeps abreast of and presents relevant current literature.
+ Coordinates and exchanges information with others specific to IHBS service delivery systems and other professional activities.
+ Complies with all state and local licensing/certification requirements and regulations
+ Consults with other professionals regarding their expertise.
+ Performs other job duties as required and consistent with the nature of the job.
+ Maintains required professional certification and licensure.
