    Overview

     

    Select Medical is seeking an experienced operations attorney to join the corporate legal team at Select Medical’s headquarters in Mechanicsburg, PA.

    Responsibilities

    This position will serve as the lead operational attorney for Select Medical’s outpatient rehabilitation division, which includes over 1,900 physical and occupational therapy clinics across the country. Responsibilities include providing day-to-day legal advice to Select Medical’s outpatient clinics and applicable regional support and corporate teams, drafting and reviewing agreements, addressing federal and state regulatory and compliance issues, managing the outpatient regulatory and licensing team, supporting acquisitions, providing guidance to the real estate team, and providing legal advice to senior leadership.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of legal experience in a private law firm, in-house, or government setting, a strong academic background, and managerial experience. Healthcare law experience is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills, and the ability to provide legal advice in a complex, fast-paced, high-growth environment. Candidate must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania or be eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania corporate counsel license upon hire.
