    Job Title: Assembly Technician

    •Schedule:8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    •Pay Range:$22–$25/hour

    •Contract Duration:3 months

    Job Description

    As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting nitrogen fertilizer production systems. This role involves collaborating closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the quality and performance of the machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform functional testing of assembled systems, including data collection and analysis.

    + Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.

    + Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble and test equipment.

    + Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.

    + Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    + Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve assembly and test processes.

    + Document assembly and test results accurately.

    + Identify and report any quality issues or discrepancies.

    + Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

    + Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with assembly and testing processes.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly.

    + Familiarity with production and general labor tasks.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a startup environment within a large warehouse that can be cold or hot at times. Personal Protective Equipment, including safety glasses, is required to ensure a safe working environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
