    Job Title: Construction Laborer

    Job Description

    This position involves working on a variety of commercial construction job sites in Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas. The role requires performing physically demanding tasks and supporting construction teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and safe.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.

    + Work in various weather conditions.

    + Use hand and power tools effectively.

    + Follow blueprints or site plans accurately.

    + Assist with tasks such as demolition, excavation, and site preparation.

    + Show up on time and follow safety rules.

    + Be dependable to keep projects on schedule.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor experience in construction.

    + Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Capability to follow blueprints or site plans.

    + Dependability and punctuality.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2-3 years of construction experience preferred.

    + Carpentry experience is a plus.

    + Reliable transportation.

    + Strong work ethic.

    + Interest in starting and growing a career in construction.

    Work Environment

     

    Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional weekends if needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
