Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to manage and drive electrical engineering projects from inception to completion. This role involves providing technical expertise and guidance, designing electrical systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
+ Provide technical expertise, guidance, and facilitation to team members.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for successful project execution.
+ Design and develop electrical systems and components, including printed circuit boards (PCBs).
+ Mentor and support junior engineers.
+ Work closely with technicians during prototype building.
+ Engage with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders for continuous quality improvement.
+ Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in electrical engineering and electrical design.
+ Proficiency in power supplies, power generation, and control systems for pumps and valves.
+ Experience with high power electronics, handling 100W+ and 30-80 KW power levels.
+ Comfort with 400 DC and 480 AC systems.
+ Strong understanding of component theory for circuit boards and PCB design.
+ Experience with batteries, controllers, and voltage conversion.
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical, electronics, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
+ 6+ years of experience in high power electronics.
+ Familiarity with Solidworks or NX and PCB Design tools such as Altium and Mentor Graphics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with military specifications and the use of military connectors.
+ Understanding of space considerations and application in engineering designs.
Work Environment
This role is based on-site in Boulder City in a smaller office setting. The dress code is casual, with jeans and polo shirts being acceptable attire. The position offers a long-term contract with the potential for full-time employment after 18 months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boulder City, Nevada.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
