A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Lead Production Scheduler at Siemens Energy – Vanes &
Blades Tampa, you will focus on planning and coordinating production schedules
of multiple manufacturing areas in the facility to implement most efficient and
effective operational flow to ensure castings are delivered on time and
satisfying customer demands!
Specifically, Lead Production Scheduler will be working closely
with Master Scheduler to stablish daily targets for multiple production areas
taking in consideration lean principles, monthly delivery dates and material
inventory available. Additionally, scheduler will actively collaborate with
Production Supervisor and Team Leads to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and
other potential limitations that could affect flow thru production areas!
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ **ProductionScheduling & Order Management:** Create and manageproduction orders in SAP based on Core/Wax schedules; maintain dailytargets and collaborate with the Master Scheduler to develop accurate,demand-driven schedules.
+ **OrderReview & System Accuracy:** Review open productionorders weekly, close out completed/excess orders in SAP, and ensurescheduling and accounting accuracy through effective obsolescencemanagement.
+ **CustomerOrder Fulfillment:** Receive, approve, and updateproduction orders to align with customer promise dates; send EDItransmissions and process outbound deliveries while resolvingdiscrepancies in SAP and S-Portal.
+ **Reporting& Communication:** Maintain Commercial Tracker andproduction boards to provide clear program status updates and weekly salesestimates to customers and internal stakeholders.
+ **ContinuousImprovement & Risk Mitigation:** Measure and improveschedule adherence, cycle time, and inventory; identify manufacturingrisks and opportunities that impact cost or delivery timelines.
+ **CapacityPlanning & Inventory Control:** Analyze site capacity andbottlenecks to recommend corrective actions; estimate alloy requirementsand manage excess or aging inventory.
What You Bring
+ Associate'sdegree with at least 5 years of proven experience in scheduling ormaterials planning within a manufacturing environment. (A high schooldiploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience may beaccepted in lieu of an Associate's degree.)
+ Provenability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining ahigh degree of accuracy and attention to detail; highly resourceful,self-directed, and effective at prioritizing tasks under minimaldirection.
+ Strongbackground in MRP systems and component manufacturing processes, withexpertise in SAP and advanced Excel skills; experienced in applyingquality systems, Six Sigma, and lean principles to solve complex problemsand drive continuous improvement.
+ Excellentverbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complexinformation to diverse audiences; highly team-oriented andcustomer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills that supportcross-functional teamwork.
+ Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. SiemensEnergy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible forinternal transfers.
