    Job Title: Production Scheduler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Scheduler to manage and coordinate all scheduling activities across a manufacturing plant. This role ensures optimal production flow, meets customer delivery timelines, and maintains efficient use of resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive operational excellence.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop, maintain, and adjust the master production schedule based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.

    + Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

    + Monitor production progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.

    + Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

    + Communicate schedule updates and changes clearly to all relevant stakeholders.

    + Lead daily production meetings and provide status reports to management.

    + Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all scheduling activities.

    + Utilize ERP system to manage scheduling and reporting functions.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning and plant efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience in production scheduling or manufacturing planning, preferably in a plant-wide capacity.

    + Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, and inventory management.

    + Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and procurement.

    + Experience in material planning and materials management.

    + Understanding of production control and inventory control processes.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a plant environment, requiring an understanding of the manufacturing process. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, Wisconsin.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
