About the Role
The SAP Relationship Manager will provide deep expertise in SAP Practice supporting a key client(s) in the Bay Area. In this role, your focus will be on expanding Cognizant's SAP services in the assigned client(s), and working closely with the delivery teams to ensure successful execution post-sale. You are a trusted advisor to both the client and the Cognizant Client Partner blending strategic, tactical and ‘street savvy’ sales and solutioning experience.

In this role, you will:
+ **Foster strategic client partnerships** : Build strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders.
+ **Gain deep client insight** : Understand the client’s environment, challenges, and priorities to inform strategic decisions.
+ **Create impactful solutions** : Collaborate with clients to define business problems and develop tailored solutions.
+ **Drive strategic growth** : Lead RFP responses and proactive bids focused on renewals, extensions, and account expansion.
+ **Serve as the primary client liaison for SAP** : Act as the day-to-day point of contact, ensuring seamless communication and engagement.
+ **Expand engagement pipeline** : Own backlog growth by securing renewals and extensions of existing SAP engagements.
+ **Ensure successful delivery** : Guide project teams with a clear understanding of client dynamics to ensure successful execution.
What you need to have to be considered
+ 3-5 years experience in account management role selling SAP solutions.
+ 8+ years’ hands-on experience working in SAP solutions in an architect or delivery role - you have been an SAP practitioner.
+ High level understanding of emerging patterns in the SAP application modernization space
+ Strong knowledge of the communications, media, high tech spaces.
+ A strong relationship-oriented bent of mind, demonstrated capabilities in building and sustaining relationships
+ Strong executive presence and gravitas.
+ Ability to navigate a large organization, work in a multi-dimensional matrix and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence
+ Experience of leading and closing large deals in managed services (multi-million $ and multi-year contracts)

The annual base salary for this position is between $170,000 - $185,000. The specific salary is dependent on experience and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
