Respiratory Care Assistant

Performs non-critical respiratory care procedures and ABGs under close supervision.

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

+ This posting includes multiple openings for a **Respiratory Care Assistant**

+ Available Shifts:

+ Per Diem, On Call, Variable (Temporary)

+ This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.

+ Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location:

+ Covenant Children’s Hospital, Texas: Lubbock

+ Covenant Medical Center, Texas: Lubbock

+ Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled

+ On-call flexibility is required to ensure operational continuity, provide leadership during critical situations, and support team members outside of standard business hours.

+ Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule to maintain system availability and troubleshoot critical issues outside of regular hours.

+ Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.

+ Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies

Required Qualifications:

+ Coursework/Training:

+ Actively enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Care Training Program

+ Must be in the Clinical phase of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Training Program

+ Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
