    BWXT is currently seeking a welding engineer intern for the Summer of 2026.

    Job Description/Duties:

    The candidate will be responsible for performing the following:

    + Developing and delivering unique engineering solutions used in a nuclear manufacturing environment.

    + Creating/updating drawings and procedures.

    + Participates in design, testing, analysis, project management, and procurement of materials.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications/Requirements:

    + Must be currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program pursuing a degree in Engineering.

    + Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
