    Summary:

    The primary function of this position is to weld fabricated parts used in the manufacturing process.

    Essential Duties:

    + Demonstrates the competencies of a welder I

    + Must be AWS certified in aluminum 6061 and 5052

    + 3G-.050/.063/.125 TIG

    + 3G-.125/.250 MIG

    + Must be AWS certified in current steel production

    + 3G-18Ga& 10Ga TIG

    + 3F-.18Ga & 10Ga TIG/MIG

    + Must be AWS certified in all current stainless production

    + 3G-22Ga & 18Ga TIG

    + Able to operate the Miller welder

    + Performs operator maintenance on equipment

    + Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting

    + Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted

    + Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required

    + Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization

    + Adheres to all quality and safety standards

    + Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

    Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

    + High School diploma or GED preferred. In lieu of preferred diploma, relevant work experience demonstrating the required job skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the job

    + 1-3 years of industry related experience

    + Must be able to speak, read and understand English

    + Ability to work from verbal and written instructions

    + Ability to obtain AWS Certification in all above welding areas

    + Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment

    + Goal oriented and team focused to ensure completion of projects in a timely manner
