    RC Senior Sales Forecasting Manager

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The purpose of this position is to serve as the functional lead for US Row Crops forecasting brand/crop segments with annual net sales ranging from ~$400M- $1B. You will be striving for continuous improvement in the overall sales and shipment forecast processes to ensure efficient and predictable inventory availability. Also, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships across home and working teams to create partnerships that result in win-win solutions in support of the US demand and supply enablement processes. Additionally, you will provide training and coaching related to brand/crop business dynamics and supply chain end-to-end knowledge to inform and improve shipment forecasts. Finally, you will support a culture built on trust, collaboration, and agility, focusing on safety, profit margin and customer needs, guided by Bayer’s VACC Principles: Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach.

    The primary responsibilities of this role, RC Senior Sales Forecasting Manager, are to:

    + Lead SKU level shipment forecasting process. Provide analysis, leverage brand/crop business knowledge, and unique business insights across sales teams and other key stakeholder input to independently build out individualized demand plans that enable their unique go to market strategy;

    + Provide updated volumes vs. financial commitments, including risks and opportunities;

    + Demonstrate effective leadership across home and work teams while providing analysis and review of demand plans, delivering specific recommendations across teams;

    + Uncover opportunities and risks, including providing recommendations and actions for achieving financial goals, when necessary;

    + Lead brand/crop SKU level portfolio review process, providing SKU level analysis and providing recommendations on SKU offerings to balance supply chain complexity with business strategy;

    + Co-Creates solutions and opportunities through the Control Tower Process to ensure demand is enabled with inventory plans to satisfy customers while achieving margin goals;

    + Lead development and documentation of forecast process and implementation for commercial sales teams to ensure consistent forecasting methodology throughout the sales organization;

    + Monitor and analyze monthly forecasts, collaborating with Finance and Product Management to identify risk or opportunities;

    + Lead teams and projects with a focus on driving results based on satisfied customers, financial health, and fulfilled employees;

    + Leverage advanced business knowledge to identify and implement improvements to existing processes, utilizing analytical analysis of data trends and industry factors to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    WHO YOU ARE

    Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Business, or other related disciplines;

    + Experience in Planning, Supply Chain Management or Row Crops commercial functions;

    + Experience in an analytical role;

    + Advanced computer skills, with particular proficiencies in Excel and ability to learn new tools;

    + Strong ability to influence without authority;

    + Strategic Mindset.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 8+ years' experience in Planning, Supply Chain Management or Row Crops commercial functions;

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical role.

    Relocation may be offered for this role.

     

    Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $97,627.20 to $146,440.80. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
