    **Title:** Technician II, R&E

    **Location:** United States-Illinois-Rockford

    **Job Number:** 17732

     

    Technician II, R&E is responsible for effectively performing R&E routine work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C, and D checks.

    What you will be responsible for:

    + Troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data and minimal supervision.

    + Performing avionics and electrical modifications with little supervision.

    + Understanding engineering methodology for systems installations.

    + All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    What you will need to be successful in this role:

    + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

    + Must have a minimum of 1-year related experience and/or training.

    + 2 years previous experience required

    + Must have an A&P, FCC license or repairman certificate.

    + Computer keypunch experience.

    + Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.

    Compensation:

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $23.13 to $28.15 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
