    Hours: Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm or 6am-2:30pm

     

    Rate: $18.04/hr

    OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES :

    This position will be responsible for the cleaning of A school building in the West Point area. Quality assurance, maintaining overhead costs, and ensuring high customer service standards are the major tasks associated with this position.

    PRIMARY FUNCTIONS :

    + Floor Care (knowledge of scrubbers or auto-buffers a plus)

    + Cleaning of restrooms

    + Window cleaning

    + Removing of trash and recyclables

    + Vacuuming & Dusting

    + Possible snow removal

    ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT:

    + Works as part of a team to ensure the requirements of the contract are fulfilled

    + Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor

    QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES :

    + Previous custodial or janitorial experience

    + Strong organization skills with accurate attention to detail

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi- task

    + Good customer service skills

    + Able to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment

    + Ability to function as part of a cohesive team

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

    + Previous cleaning experience required

    PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS :

    + Capable of walking between buildings to get to other locations

    + Must be capable of standing for several hours

    + Must be able to moving arms back and forth in a “mopping” motion

    + Must be able to lift >20 lbs

    + Must be able to push a shovel

    + Must be able to climb stairs

    + Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet

    + Must be able to reach overhead to get at higher locations
