    + **Facility:** Morton Plant North Bay Hospital

    + **Location:** New Port Richey, FL

    + **Status:** Full-Time

    + **Exempt:** No

    + **Shift Hours:** 9:00 pm - 7:00 am

    + **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities:

    + Performs all diagnostic testing and quality controls

    + Prepares reagents

    + Reports results according to established policies and procedures

    + Reviews and oversees moderate to high complexity testing

    + Uses, monitors, and maintains computer applications appropriate to the position

    + Maintains equipment and supplies

    + Works independently and in a team

    + Must have customer service and interpersonal skills

    + Demonstrates organizational, time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills

    + Uses and understands medical terminology

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Certification & Licensure:

    + Required - State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

    + Preferred - ASCP certified

    Education:

    + Required - Associate’s

    + Preferred - Bachelor’s

    Experience:

    + Preferred - 1 year laboratory related
