You will be the Tool Engineer / Additive Lab Lead for the Pike County Operations \(PCO\) 3D Print & Laser Cutting Lab\. Our team is responsible for creating innovative production approaches for missile sub‑assembly fabrication, final assembly, integration, and testing \(AI&T\)\.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Tool Engineer / Additive Lab Lead you will be responsible for leading efforts in the PCO 3D Print & Laser Cutting Lab, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and setting daily priorities for lab operations\.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Collaborate with Production Engineering and other stakeholders to implement special tools and fixtures for factory operations\.
+ Create and modify detailed tool‑design CAD models using PTC Creo, CATIA V5, and printer/cutter software packages\.
+ Manage day‑to‑day operations of the PCO 3D Print & Laser Cutting Lab\.
+ Ensure compliance with government regulations, company policies, industrial safety, and engineering requirements\.

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start\.
Basic Qualifications:
Engineering degree or a related technical discipline at the Bachelor level or above from an accredited college\.
A minimum two years of manufacturing related experience\.
Must have experience in creating 3D CAD models, 3D Printing and a working knowledge of various tools, support equipment, and factory equipment\.
Must be a U\.S\. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U\.S\. DoD Secret Security Clearance\. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting\.
Must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives \(“ATF”\) background investigation to obtain “employee possessor” approval \(of explosives or other ATF\-regulated items\) as defined by ATF regulations\. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment\.
Desired Skills:
CREO / Pro\-E, CATIA V5 experience with a focus on tooling, taking a concepts into fabrication\.
Experience with 3D FDM printing, 3D Resin Printing, and laser cutting\.
Experience utilizing different printer/cutter software packages\. IdeaMaker, Simplify3D, Zsuite, lightburn, Formlabs PreForm\.
Hands\-on mechanical assembly skills with building / assembling hardware, and the ability to clear verbal & written communicate skills, the ability to provide clear direction to all levels of education\.
Experience with manufacturing processes \(electronic, mechanical, optical assemblies\), GD&T, precision machining, assembly sequences\.
Experience with Systems, Applications & Products \(SAP\) and Windchill PLM\.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
