Position Summary

The Packaging Operator is responsible for performing a four-step manual process to prepare, sort, assemble, and package implants and related products. This role ensures products are correctly packed into boxes, verified through automated sequence checks, labeled by machine systems, and prepared for shipment to customers in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform manual packaging tasks including sorting, assembling, and placing parts into designated packaging materials.

+ Operate within a defined four-step manual process to ensure accurate assembly and packaging of products.

+ Monitor and collaborate with automated systems for sequence verification and labeling.

+ Inspect products and packaging for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

+ Apply machine-generated labels to packaged goods and verify accuracy.

+ Maintain accurate documentation of packaging counts, batch numbers, and shipment readiness.

+ Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow efficiency.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with 5S standards.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent (required).

+ Prior experience in packaging, assembly, or manufacturing (preferred).

+ Basic understanding of automated equipment and labeling systems (a plus).

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

+ Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to stand for extended periods.

+ Frequent handling of small parts and packaging materials.

+ Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 25 lbs] occasionally.

+ Visual acuity for inspecting product quality and label accuracy.

Work Environment

+ Manufacturing/production floor setting with moderate noise levels.

+ Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required.

**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
