Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee our client's financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting records for our organization. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong background in general ledger management and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to manage month-end processes efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger and ensure all accounts are accurately maintained.

• Oversee month-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Utilize accounting systems and Excel to compile, review, and present financial data.

• Implement accrual accounting methods to support accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain document control processes, including scanning and organizing financial records.

• Compile and verify financial documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve accounting processes.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support business decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role

• Proficiency in general ledger management and financial statement preparation.

• Advanced skills in accounting systems Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles.

• Experience with document control, scanning, and compiling financial records.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
