Description Robert Half is partnering with a client out of Monmouth County for a fantastic entry level accounting opportunity. The ideal candidate will initially focus on accounts receivable accounting functions while receiving hands-on training to advance into general ledger accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities: • Manage accounts receivable collections, ensuring timely follow-ups and accuracy. • Perform routine bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. • Reconcile accounts to ensure proper alignment with financial statements. • Support the preparation and posting of accounting entries in compliance with company standards. • Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and reporting purposes. • Provide assistance in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records. • Participate in ongoing training to expand knowledge of accounting systems and processes. Requirements • Basic knowledge of accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Familiarity with bank reconciliations and account reconciliation practices. • Understanding of accounting entries and general ledger principles. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. • Pivot Table and VLookup experience in Excel. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
