• Finance Manager

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Conover, NC)


    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee and optimize financial operations within our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze financial data, develop insightful reports, and contribute to informed decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial planning and analysis, coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities.

     

    • Coordinate month-end closing process by posting journal entries, making journal entries, running allocations, monitoring closing schedule and coordinating production of financial reports to Corporate.

    • Supervision of Accounts Payable, Payroll

    • Reviewing of Accounts Payable batches.

    • Facilitate communication and understanding through regular reports and meetings

    • Develop financial models, reports, data files, including P& L statements

    • Will be responsible for the validity of semi-annual inventories.

    • Track and monitor inventory shrinkage of raw materials.

    • Financial, capital, and strategic plan.

    + Assist functional management in the development of financial, capital, and strategic plans.

    + Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPI’s)

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing (preferably cost or operational accounting/financial analysis)

    • Expertise in variance analysis and interpreting financial data.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools.

    • Effective communication and presentation skills.

    • BS degree in accounting or finance
