Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team in Monroe, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes, ensuring the accuracy of reconciliations, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment while leveraging your expertise in accounting systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, variance reports, and operational metrics to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

+ Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with various departments to develop accurate budgets and rolling forecasts to align with corporate objectives.

+ Operational Cost Analysis: Monitor and evaluate manufacturing costs, operational efficiencies, and production trends to support expense reduction initiatives and profitability optimization.

+ ERP System Utilization: Leverage ERP software to maintain accurate financial data, streamline reporting processes, and ensure data integrity.

+ Performance Metrics Development: Design and implement performance dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations, supply chain, and production activities.

+ Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analyses, investigating discrepancies in actual vs. planned costs, and recommend corrective actions.

+ Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls, particularly in manufacturing and inventory processes.

+ Collaboration Across Teams: Partner with operations, procurement, and production teams to align financial planning with business strategies.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.

• Proficiency in account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and journal entries.

• Experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including functions and data analysis.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
