Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis for two months. This role is based in Boca Grande, Florida, and requires proficiency in QuickBooks and strong accounting skills to support daily financial operations. You will play a key role in managing various bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage transactions and generate financial reports.

• Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Process invoices and payments in a timely manner.

• Monitor and update account balances to maintain up-to-date financial data.

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.

• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to financial records.

• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries.

• Collaborate with the Controller to support financial decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks with the ability to navigate and utilize its features effectively.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines within a contract-based timeframe.
