Job Details We are looking for a strong candidate to join our Rehabilitation Admissions team as Rehabilitation Financial Coordinator. In this role, you will be a liaison with other team members, referring facilities, patients, and insurance carriers to facilitate authorization, relay coverage verification, approvals and denials. Responsibilities: Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, Complete insurance authorizations in order to facilitate timely admission of patients into our inpatient rehabilitation program. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education required. Versed in the prior authorization process and working with a variety of carriers including many Commercial Plans, Medicare HMO, Medicaid HMO, Workers Compensation and No-Fault. Excellent phone communication skills, Detail oriented, organized, and willing to spend time on the phone or provider websites daily. 2 years + of healthcare insurance verification experience. Proficient with Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, as well as Internet navigation. Salary Range USD $32.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
