• Patient Access Representative

    Schedule: Monday–Tuesday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM

    About the Role

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our small, collaborative healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients by managing scheduling, insurance verification, and front-desk operations. You’ll work closely with a Certified Medical Assistant and provide support across various administrative and patient-facing tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.

    + Verify insurance coverage and gather necessary billing information.

    + Input demographic, insurance, and co-pay details into EPIC for registration and billing.

    + Troubleshoot scheduling and access issues to support patient needs.

    + Facilitate the flow of patient forms, letters, and data across departments.

    + File, retrieve, and deliver patient information as needed.

    + Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure confidentiality in all interactions.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience

    + Experience with EPIC (1+ year preferred)

    + Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

    Work Environment

    + Small office setting with one other CMA

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
