    Job Summary

    Primary responsibility is to engage in original, professional-level research under a faculty member’s supervision in the course of obtaining a graduate degree.

    Essential Functions

    Graduate Research Assistants in the department of Agricultural Economics & Rural Sociology will include, but are not limited to the following; Conduction research related to graduate degree program, assisting with other research projects, preparing written reports, helping maintain laboratory.

    Minimum Qualifications

    To be on assistantship, a graduate student must:

    + be admitted to a graduate degree-seeking or certificate program.

    + be registered for at least one course (anything carrying an Auburn University course number) during each academic term of the assistantship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Students with strong communication skills and prior knowledge and experience will be given preference.

     

    Pay Rate

     

    $1,250.00-$3,500.00/month
