Middle School Science Teacher – 8th Grade | Tonopah, AZ | $40/hr | Full-Time (4-Day Week)

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher for an 8th grade classroom in Tonopah, Arizona. This full-time role begins September 23, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 10 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week. The teacher will implement daily instructional plans, foster a positive learning environment, and collaborate with school staff to support student success.

Responsibilities

+ Deliver daily science instruction aligned with school curriculum

+ Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and growth

+ Establish rapport with students and collaborate with staff

+ Communicate effectively with parents and administration

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

+ Valid Arizona teaching certificate

+ One year of teaching experience preferred

+ Ability to implement instructional plans and communicate effectively

+ Basic math competency

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening and health certificate (if applicable)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
