UPMC St. Margaret is seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Patient & Family Concierge (PFC) to join our team.

This full-time role plays a vital part in delivering direct patient care and enhancing the overall experience for patients and their families. The PFC serves as a liaison between clinical staff and patients, ensuring smooth communication and personalized support throughout the care journey.

+ Welcome and escort patients and visitors to correct locations.

+ Provide hospital info and issue parking passes and scooters.

+ Track patient belongings at admission.

+ Clean and organize patient rooms and public areas.

+ Restock supplies and change linens.

+ Report maintenance issues.

+ Prepare and serve meals per dietary orders.

+ Deliver trays and confirm patient identity.

+ Safely transport patients, equipment, and specimens.

+ Disinfect and inspect transport equipment.

+ Set up, sanitize, and test telehealth carts.

+ Order and stock unit supplies and equipment.

+ Monitor inventory, expiration dates, and temperature logs.

+ Answer phones, respond to call lights, and assist patients.

+ Follow safety protocols and report incidents.

+ *Performs in accordance with all other system-wide competencies/behaviors.*Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Must have the desire, drive, and compassion needed to provide an exceptional patient and family experience at all times.

+ High School diploma OR active High School/GED program enrollment OR one year of previous job experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.

+ Previous experience in health care or customer service is a plus, but not required.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
