Senior Behavioral Health Care Manager

Purpose:
The Sr. Behavioral Health Care Manager Position provides direct supervision to a team of Behavioral Health Care Managers located throughout Central PA as well as providing Behavioral Health Care Management Services directly to clients. Supervisory duties will include providing one-to-one supervision, facilitating group supervision, performing chart audits, and other quality improvement activities. The position will be approximately 50% supervisory and 50% direct patient service.
Responsibilities:
* Provide supervision, mentorship, coaching, and leadership to Behavioral Health Care Managers (BHCMs).
* Identify potential problem areas, objectively monitor BHCM performance, and creatively seek solutions to foster quality improvement.
* Learn and assist in aspects of regulatory compliance, including outside agencies, audits, as well as internal requirements.
* Identify opportunities for quality improvement to colleagues and management. Actively assist in quality improvement efforts.
* Assist in interviewing, selection, hiring, orientation, training, and evaluating of Behavioral Health Care Managers.
* Establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with managers, physicians, advanced practice practitioners, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families.
* Develops and maintains productive working relationships internally and externally by demonstrating accountability for actions, enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment to patients and colleagues.
* Demonstrate ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities
* Other duties as assigned.
* Continues duties of a Behavioral Health Care Manager, including maintaining a Collaborative Care caseload.
+ Master's Degree in a related field, including mental health counseling, marriage or family therapy, social work, nursing, or psychology.
+ 3 years of experience as a Behavioral Health Care Manager or equivalent role in Behavioral Health Services.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate in a team setting. Experience with common mental health disorders.
+ Knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial treatments and brief behavioral interventions, including motivational interviewing and behavioral activation.
+ Knowledge of psychopharmacology as appropriate for the primary care settings.
+ Must have own vehicle for daily travel in assigned service region.
+ Must maintain and provide proof of valid driver's license.
+ Must maintain own automobile coverage as required by law. Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5 years providing service to behavioral health populations.
+ Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience, preferred.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ Act 73 FBI Clearance
