PDS Tech Commercial is seeking **dedicated, safety-focused Residential Field Service Specialists** to join our team on behalf of a leading Energy Industry client. In this role, you’ll be the face of energy transformation—working directly in the field to ensure safe and accurate installation, testing, and servicing of residential gas systems. Your work keeps communities running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

+ Perform on-site meter exchanges, testing, and inspections with a high level of accuracy and safety

+ Replace gas regulators and ensure all gas appliances are shut down and safely relit

+ Accurately collect and input data using a company-provided handheld device

+ Safely operate hand tools and navigate a variety of worksite conditions, including stooping, climbing, and walking for extended periods

+ Detect and respond to hazardous or abnormal conditions, including gas leaks

+ Professionally interact with residential customers while representing the client’s commitment to service and safety

+ Meet daily productivity goals and support your team in delivering high-quality results

Schedule:

First Shift – Monday to Thursday | 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

_Mandatory make-up rain days on Friday. Overtime may be required based on project needs._

What You Bring – Required Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

+ Ability to pass:

+ Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

+ Pre-employment background check

+ DOT PHMSA-compliant drug screen

+ Physical ability to work outdoors for up to 10 hours in various weather conditions

+ Comfort using hand tools (up to 30 lbs of upper body force)

+ Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills

+ Ability to pass Operator Qualification (OQ) training and field evaluation

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous experience in Natural Gas Field Service Operations

+ Prior work in gas meter installation or repair

+ Familiarity with mobile technology, handheld devices, and basic software systems

**Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
