    Job Overview

     

    Fairview is looking for a Cook to join the **West Bank** in Minneapolis, MN! This is a part time position that offers **40 hours** per 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible!

     

    This position is responsible for preparing food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established standards of high quality.

     

    Schedule

    Week 1:

    Monday: 5:00AM - 1:30PM

    Week 2:

    Thursday:8:00AM - 4:30PM

     

    Friday:5:00AM - 1:30PM

     

    Saturday: 10:30AM - 7:00PM

     

    Sunday: 10:30AM - 7:00PM

    Responsibilities

    + Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards.

    + Follows standardized recipes weighing and measuring ingredients to assure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value.

    + Assemble food within appropriate time frames.

    + Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating procedures

    + Takes and documents temperatures of food items and makes appropriate adjustments to achieve standards.

    + Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedure.

    + Takes ownership for self and others in work area.

    + Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

    Required Qualifications

    + One to three years cook experience

    + Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Certified or willing to become certified for food safety

    Preferred Qualifications

    + High School Diploma/G.E.D.
