2nd Shift - Maintenance Supervisor

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager at our Jackson, TN manufacturing plant, home of Odom's Tennessee Pride, Sandwich Brothers and more, you will oversee the 2nd shift maintenance department, production lines and affiliated equipment, building and grounds. You will maintain the preventative maintenance system and work toward meeting the plants safety and uptime goals.
You will establish and maintain mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs to ensure employee safety provide environmental security and maximize the plant's availability, product quality, and cost effectiveness.
How Will You Affect Our Business?
+ Plan and schedule work force for use of employees.
+ Monitor downtime occurrences to maintain operations.
+ Monitor the efficiencies of the production lines, paying special attention for maintenance and mechanical trends.
+ Train, motivate and direct employees on safe work practices
+ Maintain a cooperative working relationship with USDA officials
+ Control labor costs and departmental overtime
+ Purchase of supplies and repair parts with regard to quality
+ Monitor the machinery and equipment to ensure safety of the employees
+ Maintain equipment for efficient operation within maintenance budget, the constraint of the union contract, and USDA regulations
+ Seek continuous improvement in the Maintenance Department employees and the efficiencies of the production lines.
+ Assume full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography.
+ Evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to ensure optimum use of workforce and resources in maximizing equipment reliability.
+ Involves all associates in a team concept, keeping personnel safety, food safety and uptime as the top priorities.
+ CAD/Drafting experience desirable.
Do You Have What It Takes?
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent
+ 3+ years of supervisory experience
+ Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, blue prints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Preferred Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs and knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000
_The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
