    This position is based at our San Clemente, CA facility. The salary range for this role is $68,640 - $80,000.

    Position Summary

    The HR Generalist – Field supports the HR function at a dynamic food manufacturing facility, executing core HR programs and administrative processes that ensure workforce agility and operational excellence. Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the HR Generalist partners with operations leadership and external staffing agencies to support staffing needs and deliver consistent, compliant HR services across the employee lifecycle.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    Strategic HR Support

    + Support the implementation of HR strategies aligned with production and workforce needs.

    + Collaborate with leadership to promote organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.

    + Assist in culture-building initiatives that support a high-performance environment.

    Agency & Workforce Coordination

    + Coordinate with third-party staffing agencies to ensure timely and quality labor support.

    + Monitor agency compliance and performance.

    + Assist in aligning contingent labor strategies with production forecasts and seasonal demands.

    HR Program Execution

    + Execute HR policies and programs, including: - Recruitment and onboarding - Training and career development - Employee relations - Compensation and benefits support.

    + Support line managers in applying HR programs to departmental operations.

    Policy & Compliance

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., EEO, FMLA, FLSA).

    + Respond to employee and candidate inquiries regarding HR policies and offerings.

    + Assist in investigations and risk mitigation efforts.

    HR Operations & Service Delivery

    + Support the delivery of core HR services and administrative processes across the employee lifecycle.

    + Maintain scalable and compliant HR procedures.

    + Ensure consistent and efficient execution of HR transactions and workflows.

    + Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate employee data and uphold service level standards.

    + Contribute to operational excellence through metrics, process audits, and system-supported solutions.

    Culture & Engagement

    + Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.

    + Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Team Collaboration

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, safety, maintenance, FSQA, and EHS teams.

    + Provide support and guidance to employees across departments.

    Educational Qualifications and Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

    + Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.

    + Strong knowledge of employment law, HR operations, and workforce planning.

    + Experience working with third-party labor and vendor relationships.

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
